Hey, I’m Michael!
I’m the Head Routesetter here at Beyond Bouldering, and have been climbing since 2017 with a focus on pushing my limits both indoors and outdoors in all different styles of climbing. I have many years experience coaching including climbing and other sports.
I offer coaching to all abilities, including experienced climbers looking to push through plateaus and newer climbers looking to build good foundations. My friendly and approachable style is perfect for teaching new school movement, hard projecting, and movement fundamentals.

Hey I’m Sam!

I’m a coach and route-setter here at Beyond Bouldering. I’ve been climbing since 2019 and coaching is a big passion of mine. I love exploring and innovating with movement through routesetting, and also testing my mettle against hard projects. I have a wealth of experience coaching Beyond’s Competition Squad and would love to help you expand upon your skills.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to build your foundation, aiming to master comp-style coordination, or striving for your first climb at any grade, I’m here to help you achieve your goals.

Hey, I’m Travis!

As a personal trainer at Beyond Bouldering, I help climbers of all levels get stronger, move better, and climb harder. With a background in powerlifting and a passion for lead climbing, I bring a climbing-specific approach to strength, conditioning, and injury prevention.

Whether you want to build muscle, improve technique, or boost endurance, I’ll tailor a plan to your goals—on and off the wall. I’ve been a trainer since 2016, and with 10 years as a chef, I also understand the role nutrition plays in performance and recovery.

Niamh Alldred

About Niamh

Hi, I’m Niamh!

I’m one of the route setters and coaches here at Beyond, and climbing has been a huge part of my life for the past 14 years.

I first got into climbing in Scotland, where I spent several years competing while also exploring the outdoors with my mum across different countries. Those early experiences sparked a real passion—not just for climbing on walls, but for adventure, movement, and the climbing community as a whole.

After moving to Adelaide, I found myself reconnecting with the sport. I started competing nationally throughout the year, and alongside that, I began focusing on developing my skills as both a coach and a route setter.

These days, my main focus is coaching young people of all abilities. I’m also one of the state coaches for the South Australian Youth Team, and I’ve had the privilege of coaching at multiple Youth Nationals. Working with young climbers and helping them grow within the sport is something I really care about. That said, I’m always open to working with adult climbers too; whether you’re brand new to climbing or looking to take your skills to the next level.
