We’re excited to announce that Beyond Bouldering Kent Town is reopening on Thursday 5th March, 6AM – 10PM – and we’re celebrating the best way we know how… with a full-day Pumpfest. Come down in your own time through out the day to compete!
Whether you’re here to throw down in the comp or just cruise in for a casual session, this is your invitation to be part of reopening day.
🔥 What’s New at Kent Town?
We’ve made some big improvements while the doors were closed:
- New community space
- New island
- New mats & walkway
- Brand new bathrooms
Kent Town is back – refreshed and ready.
💥 PUMPFEST – FREE REOPENING COMP
To celebrate the reopening, we’re running a free one-day Pumpfest.
Here’s how it works:
- No need to register prior, just make sure to have the Beyond App downloaded
- 50 boulders
- Your 8 highest scoring climbs make up your total score
- Flash = full points
- Lose 1 point per attempt after that (only if you send the climb)
- Scores logged through the Beyond app
- Live leaderboard running all day
- You have the entire day to climb and log your hardest sends
This format rewards strategy, persistence and smart climbing.
You’ll notice some crossover in grades – that’s intentional.
The points assigned to each boulder determine its value, meaning you might find some red tags worth the same (or more) than certain white tags. Choose wisely.

⏰ Hours Update
Kent Town will return to its usual trading hours, with one small change:
Wednesdays will now open at 6AM, as we’ll be open during the set.
Keswick’s hours will revert to normal.
